Teacher Training at Milwaukie Pilates

At Milwaukie Pilates, we provide teacher training support for The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO, through their Host Advisor program. The Pilates Center (TPC) is widely respected for its in-depth approach to teaching the classical Pilates method and is considered one of the most esteemed teacher training programs available.

Trainees complete TPC’s comprehensive online curriculum while gaining valuable in-studio experience at Milwaukie Pilates. Sharon Carlisle, owner of Milwaukie Pilates, graduated from TPC’s Advanced Teacher Training Program in 2011 and still takes classes virtually with TPC teachers every week. As Host Advisor, Sharon guides trainees through their chosen TPC training program path and provides individualized feedback during observations, private lessons, and classes.

Traditional, classical Pilates is transformative for both teacher and client. Rooted in Joseph Pilates’ original teachings and informed by over thirty-years of training teachers from around the world, this program is ideal for those seeking an immersive, comprehensive Pilates education.
